So just to cover my bases: I have bass (dbl pedal), snare, 4 toms, DMpad 12" hi hat, dual zone DMpad 12" ride, a dual zone 10" DMpad crash, a single zone Pintech 14" crash, and a single zone Pintech 10" crash (using as China). Oh and by the way, when I click the drums in the computer they sound correct. I tried the same method with tom2 and cycled through every number to no avail. I think I did it on the I/O by pushing the function button until I could push the up/down arrows to change sounds. I have actually gotten my tom1 to trigger the correct sound now. I can find stuff about something called mapping in SD, but not when using a Trigger I/O connected to a custom set of DIY Acoustic to Electronic converted drums arrayed in a custom configuration. I swear I have tried finding this info on my own but nothing I find pertains to my exact software/hardware combination. But hitting any tom does nothing at all except maybe triggering a nearby cymbal through vibration. I'll hit my second crash and hear my second Tom. Everything else is all screwy! I'll hit the ride and hear a crash. And the hi hat seems to be mostly working. The correct sounds play when they are triggered. My kick drum and snare are now working well. But no post comes out and actually says what I need. Been trying various searches on this forum, and even found someone who had a similar issue. Super excited! Unfortunately, it is not working well at all even after screwing around with it for a few hours! So I need a little guidance.
My A to E conversion with the Trigger I/O and Superior drummer. So today is the day I finally have all my kit set up.
